Great Day on the Water

Just finished a 1/2 day trip with Captain Don's. All I can say is they are awesome! We had Asher as captain and Austin as mate and both were great. They were professional, hardworking, outgoing, friendly and incredibly knowledgable. They made us all feel welcome and competent. Also, they used multiple techniques to catch a large wahoo as well as several bigeye and yellowfin tuna. If you are in Kauai and are going deep sea fishing, go with Captain Don's . . . Enough Fish for a Week

My son and husband went on the half day fishing trip and came back with enough fish to last us the next six days of our trip to Kauai. Booking was super easy as was finding Captain Don's boat. They said they had a great time and caught mahi mahi, ahi and skipper jack. The boat included 6 people plus Captain Don and his first mate. The crew kept it fun. Overall my son and husband had a great time and will definitely book this again the next time we are in Kauai.

Captain Don was willing to take us out in some wavy conditions. The captain and first mate made it entertaining with their stories and they were very knowledgeable. They were able to find the fish including this stud 87 lb yellowfin tuna!! Definitely a must-do experience in Kauai, we can’t wait to come back and do it again with Captain Don

Amazing Experience

We did the 6-10am trip. Sunrise was spectacular on the water. 360° incredible scenery the whole trip. Asher and Brayden were very relaxed and easy going. Weather was perfect and everyone on the boat caught a fish! I did this trip 7 months pregnant and would do it again and again. I will say (to no fault of the boat or crew whatsoever) the water can be a little choppy when trolling for 3+hrs, and even if you have never gotten sick on a boat before its encouraged you take something just in case ;)

Great end to our vacation!

When you decide to go fishing, you always run the chance that the fish aren't biting. Captain Don and Asher did everything they could to get us on the fish. They answered all our questions about the fish and about the boat. Very friendly and Captain Don is a trip! The captain got us on several fish. We caught some tuna that they filleted for us and we got to take with us to cook. Nothing like fresh fish for dinner! But it was at the end of the trip that we got to catch a marlin! It was a great experience!
